Neil and Lisa's wedding

Neil and Lisa got married in The Holt hotel near Steeple Aston on a bright and sunny December afternoon. The venue was prepared for Christmas and had a cosy feel with twinkling lights and roaring fires. Anna, Neil’s sister did an amazing job in decorating the rooms with home made centre pieces.

I was able to get photos of the guests arriving, drinks at the bar and the bride speaking to the Registrars. The ceremony went very smoothly and the grounds provided great backdrops for the formal photos and bride and groom shots.

The speeches produced some special reactions from the guests - a real range of emotions were triggered with a tear or two leading to fits of laughter. This was a pleasure to capture.

It was a privilege to photo this special day and all the very best to the new Mr and Mrs Scott-Picton!

Jenny and Kim's wedding

Here is a selection of Jenny and Kim's wonderful wedding last week.

Oxford Town Hall is a great venue and we had the bonus of being able to use lots of the interesting rooms, as the building was open to the public that day. The wedding chauffeur took us around Oxford city centre to ultilise the endless wedding photo opportunities.

The reception was at the smart but relaxed Cherwell Boathouse which featured excellent speeches and impressive catering.

Many congratulations again to Jenny and Kim!

Helen and Tony's wedding

Here are a selection of images from Helen and Tony's wonderful wedding last week. They got married at Wroxton House Hotel in North Oxfordshire on a remarkably sunny and warm day.

I was impressed with the venue - it's got great modern facilities in historic buildings. When we went outside for some photos of the front of the hotel, the couple were the main attraction with lots of cars beeping and passing on their congratulations!

The wedding car was a very smart 84 year-old Austin 10 that provided a number of photo opportunities, including the old favourite reflection shot.

I hope you enjoy looking through them and very best wishes to Mr and Mrs Fletcher!

Phil and Philippa's wedding

I've been to a few military weddings but this was my first taking the photos!

And what great day - I took pictures of Philippa getting ready her mum's stunning barn conversion before arriving in Thame to see Phil and his friends have a few beers in the Six Bells.

The service was in the lovely St Mary's Church and featured a guard of honour as the couple left the church.

A London Routemaster bus then transported everyone to the Tythe Barn in Launton, a venue that always delivers excellent service. The speeches were highly entertaining - with stories retold by different speakers according to their version of events and each were filled with lots of banter.

It was a special day and I hope that you enjoy looking through the photo gallery.
